A meeting with the entire household and the Animal Control Officer, who will try to make the best match for the animal and the family.

Dogs
$5 Fee to Newtown Pound
$70 suggested donation to Canine Advocates to help defray cost of veterinary care
Cats
$5 Fee to Newtown Pound
$45 suggested donation to Canine Advocates to help defray cost of veterinary care

Canine Advocates of Newtown, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, volunteer group, raises funds for spaying/neutering, rabies, and DHLPP shots for all of the Newtown Pound cats and dogs.
CAN also provides a free training DVD and one free individual training lesson from Beyond Obedience Dog Training to adopters.

Pease call Newtown Animal Control at 426-6900 or Canine Advocates at 426-5327. Remember all our cats have had their shots and been spayed or neutered by Canine Advocates.
