Thank
you to all who have donated to our cause either with services, auction
items, or monetary support. Without your help, we could not continue our
mission.
Donations to CAN fund health checks, vaccinations and spay/neuter for
every Newtown Pound dog and cat. We are proud that every dog & cat
adopted from the Newtown Pound is now spayed or neutered before going
to his/her new home. In addition, donations help us to defray the cost
of the insurance which enables us to walk and socialize the dogs &
cats, to take their pictures, and to publicize the dogs & cats on
Web sites.
But while this work continues, the members of CAN have also turned their
attention to the appalling conditions in which the homeless animals, animal
control staff, and volunteers spend their days.
Almost
2 years ago we began fund-raising for a new Pound facility for Newtown,
and the building fund now stands at over $150,000.

on the Dog and will be performing his own unique sound again this year.

Regency at Toll Bros held two Open Houses for our cause and raised over
$2000.
They have also provided a surveyor to survey the property and Dan Walton
of Toll Bros has offered his assistance as a Consultant on the Job. Dave
